Drive the Devil's Tromping Ground
26 intrepid drivers joined us on a rainy day for our yearly drive to the Devil's Tromping Ground and to the Southern Fruitcake and More. The group was treated to delicious samples and then wondered around the facility looking for treasures to take home. Lunch at the Carolina Brewery followed.

Lunch at Carolina Brewery

We had a full house for our last dinner meeting of the year at the Carolina Ale House. We took this opportunity to honor Allie Shealy, our server. She came in on Thursday evenings just for us. To reward her service we circulated a goodie envelope for her and awarded her a PCA nametag, engraved pen and flashlight set, and Jim Proper rewarded her with a Porsche hat.

Bryan Tucker's Legendary Wine Tasting.
A sold out event with nearly 100 willing tasters. Bryan and Sherri did a fantastic job with the organization, the food, and, of course, the wines. The raffle raised over $1,700 for the food bank. Thank you all for your generosity.

Fall Tour
The Carolinas Region Fall Tour this year took place in Staunton, VA. Hotel 24 South in Staunton hosted the group. Members appreciated the downtown location of the hotel that enabled walking to restaurants and shops. Bryson Kiser, Bob Futrell and Victor Friedmann led the two drives.

Monthly Dinner Meeting at the Carolina Ale House
Another full house at our monthly dinner meeting. There was no speaker but we had the company Eric Watson, Elfer.US, one of our sponsors. Brett Emes present a questionnaire on the interests for future tours and drives.

Triangle Area Family Picnic
A sold out event at the Historic Old Mill Farm in Durham. Members, family and children enjoyed a beautiful fall day at the farm with plenty of activities for the kids. Food from City BBQ and a cash bar had something for everyone. The farm general manager picked the one Porsche she would like to drive home--Larry Van Buhler's red boxster S was her pick. Larry walked away with a T-shirt. Congratulations, Larry.

A full house once again at the Carolina Ale House in Durham. Nic from Elfer Automotive gave an informative presentation on Elfer services to the Porsche community.
